The repertoire of the Eastergoa Skotsers has several types of dances. Acquaintance names of dancing are ‘Skots’, ‘Mazurka’, ‘Rolling mill’ and ‘Formationdances'. Also we know the term `Suite’; this is a complete programme of a number of dances, without discontinuances. In sum we have approximately 50 dancing on our repertoire.
A special point of our repertoire is a collection dances such as that was danced in the period of end 18de, beginning 19de centuries.
For the origin of music and dances we can appeal to the remained material. Particularly the musicians Michiels Visser (1801 - 1886) and Andries Kiers (1856 - 1897) have made a large contributien to collect and keep material useful for dancing and music.
